NFA Transfer Service in Florida | Simple, Secure, and Compliant

Looking to transfer an NFA item like a suppressor or short-barreled rifle (SBR) in Florida? Our NFA Transfer Service makes the process easy, secure, and fully compliant with federal and state laws. Available exclusively to residents of Florida, our service ensures that your NFA-regulated items are transferred legally and efficiently.

Who Can Use This Service?
This transfer service is only available to individuals who live in Florida, specifically South East Florida, and who have purchased an NFA item (e.g., suppressors, SBRs) from a federally licensed firearms dealer.

How the NFA Transfer Process Works:

  1. Complete the Transfer Form: For each NFA item, fill out the online form and add the transfer to your cart.
  2. Multiple Items: If you have more than one NFA item, complete a separate form for each.
  3. Finalize Your Purchase: Complete the checkout process, providing all necessary details and payment.
  4. Dealer Contact: Instruct your selling dealer to contact us to request a copy of our FFL and SOT.
  5. Provide Required Documents: Ensure the seller includes the following in the shipment:
    • Their FFL (Federal Firearms License) and SOT.
    • A copy of the approved Form 3 (federal approval of the NFA transfer).
    • An itemized invoice with detailed information about the firearm.
    • Your contact information (phone, email, and address).

What This Fee Includes:

  • Handling the NFA transfer process for your suppressor, short-barreled rifle (SBR), or other NFA-regulated items.
  • Coordination with your dealer to ensure proper receipt of the necessary paperwork (FFL, SOT, Form 3).
  • Secure storage for your NFA item for up to 180 calendar days, with no additional charge during this period.
  • Professional assistance with completing the ATF Form 4473 in our store.
  • A comprehensive background check processed through the FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement).

What This Fee Does Not Include:

  • The $200 federal tax stamp required for NFA item transfers.
  • Shipping costs associated with your NFA item.
  • Any additional fees for dealers to send the necessary documents (e.g., FFL, SOT, Form 3).
  • Digital fingerprint and photography fees, which are completed by a third party.
  • Additional storage fees that apply after 180 calendar days ($1.00 per day).
  • The cost of any other legal requirements or taxes outside of the NFA transfer process.

Important Notes:

  • We do not accept transfers from private parties or C&R licensees.
  • This service is for NFA items only (suppressors, SBRs, etc.). For non-NFA transfers, please visit our Non-NFA Transfer page.

Basic Requirements for the Transfer:

  • You must be a resident of Florida.
  • The purchaser named on the firearm must complete the paperwork and pick up the firearm in person.
  • The address on your ID must be current. If it is not, you will need to provide state-issued documentation showing your current address (such as a tax bill, voter registration, or car registration). Utility bills or commercial mail will not be accepted.
  • Form 4473 must be completed in our store prior to the transfer.
  • A background check must be approved by the FDLE. Please note that delays in background checks are outside of our control.
  • The applicable waiting period must be met before the firearm can be transferred.

Storage Policy: We offer complimentary storage for your NFA transfer for the first 180 calendar days. After 180 days, a storage fee of $1.00 per day per item will apply. If the accumulated storage fees reach the value of the item, the property will become irrevocably the property of the company.

Legal Compliance: We strictly follow all state and federal firearm regulations. No firearm will be transferred until all legal requirements are met.
